RAJAHMUNDRY: Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan will kick-start electioneering in a full-fledged manner for the ensuing polls by addressing a public meeting at Government Arts College Grounds here on Thursday from 4 pm onwards.

Get ready, Jana Sena chief will release party’s full-fledged manifesto today.

Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan on Wednesday night announced the party’s candidates for 32 Assembly segments and two more Parliament segments.

The party had already announced Dr Akula Satyanarayana and DMR Sekhar as its candidates for Rajahmundry and Amalapuram Parliament segments respectively. Ahead of the party’s formation day celebrations at Rajahmundry on Thursday, the party announced the party’s candidates for 32 Assembly segments.

According to DC, Jana Sena Rajahmundry Lok Sabha nominee Akula Satyanarayana said, “Our party chief Pawan Kalyan is addressing the first election meeting after announcement of polls scheduled by the Election Commission of India in coincidence with the Party Formation Day on March 14. We are expecting a good number of party supporters coming here from all over state to take part in the public meeting.”

The party leaders are making elaborate arrangements for the public meeting with an expectation of people turning out from all 13 districts in the state. Huge pandals are being erected on Arts College Grounds and volunteers are entrusted with the task of supplying drinking water and butter milk sachets to help people not face health problems during the meeting.

The party sources said that the manifesto is expected to discuss at length on providing welfare to the people and ensuring sustainable development in the state.

Women will get financial support through direct-benefit-transfer into their bank accounts to enable them purchase quality essential commodities instead of getting poor quality material from fair price shops.

The farmers are also to get the benefit of Rs 8,000 to help them overcome distress and to enable them to allow their children to pursue studies.

The party chief is expected to dwell at length on various issues the state has been facing and mention them in the party manifesto with an assurance to solve them to provide welfare to all sections of the people in the state.

The party leaders are making elaborate arrangements for the public meeting with an expectation of people turning out from all 13 districts in the state. Huge pandals are being erected on Arts College Grounds and volunteers are entrusted with the task of supplying drinking water and butter milk sachets to help people not face health problems during the meeting.

As hundreds of vehicles carrying people are coming to the city, parking slots are being arranged at several places and the people are asked to park their vehicles at the designated place and walk to the meeting place.

Meanwhile, police beefed up security arrangements at the venue of public meeting and the city has been decked up with party flags and banners all over.
