Rajamahendravaram: Municipal Corporation Commissioner Sumit Kumar visited 3rd division along with division corporator Medapati Sharmila Reddy and corporation superintending engineer Om Prakash and other officials here on Wednesday and enquired the people about their problems and progress of works.

The residents of the division complained that the roads were inundated in the rain water as the corporation not cleared silt in the drains.

Also the residents complained that due to lack of proper road and drain system, they were facing many problems during the rainy season.

The Commissioner Sumit Kumar directed the officials to remove the silt in the drains, lay new roads immediately and construct new drains, if necessary.

He also asked the officials to prepare estimations in this regard and directed corporation health officer to maintain sanitation properly as many residents were complaining due to lack of proper sanitation in the division.
