Devi Chowk in the heart of the Rajahmundry city is all decked up for the nine-day Navaratri fete, holy sparkle began from Tuesday 9 oct 2018.

Navaratri Special pujas:

The Navaratri Utsav Committee, which was constituted in 1934, has made all arrangements for the festival. During the festival period, special pujas will be performed at pandals specially arranged opposite the Sri Durga matha idol at Rajamahendravaram. Cultural programmes, one each day, will be arranged during the nine-day festival period.

Street Bazar Shopping:

During the festival period, you will find Clothes and Handicraft stalls in “Devi Chowk” street bazaar which are open 9 days of the festival. Handicrafts are Kondapalli toys, dolls, crochet lace, Hyderabadi pearls, Artificial Jewellery, metal castings, jute bags, leather wear, cotton durries, metal castings, Bracelets, jewellery, shoes, watches etc.

Every year Rajahmundry residents will celebrate Navratri festival, with full joy and a play the songs people know and are looking forward to hearing.
