Nandamuri Balakrishna Starrer NTR Biopic Is Ready To Release On 9 Jan 2019
The NTR biopic is being made into a two-part film. The first part titled Kathanayakudu is getting ready for release on 9 Jan 2019.
The film was launched during a grand event Ramakrishna Studios in March this year. Team NTR has been doing an excellent job with the casting of principal characters of the movie.
The biopic on the life and achievements of NTR is being made into a two-part film. The first part titled Kathanayakudu is getting ready for release on January 9 and the second part Mahanayakudu will release on January 26, 2020.
Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao and Akkineni Nageswara Rao are the two main pillars of Telugu cinema. They have been part of it right from the beginning and share many moments together. Nandamuri Balakrishna plays the title role.
As a biopic is made on the legend NTR, it is but natural to have the other legend find a place in it. The glimpse of Akkineni Nageswara Rao was given earlier in the day today. And now, we have a casual candid moment of the two together. Here we can see ANR lighting a cigarette for NTR and, having a puff. It showcases the kind of bond they share together. Balakrishna and Sumanth are pulling off the camaraderie rather well here.
Sumanth, first of all, was an apt choice and the image shows exactly why everyone thought so. The actor has the smile and face cut that is reminiscent of the legend. The picture makes that connection very obvious. What also works wonderfully here is that the age also works in Sumanth’s favour. Here, ANR seems to be from his middle-aged days rather than from the much younger time. It also avoids direct comparison with Naga Chaitanya who has played the same part in the blockbuster movie Mahanati that released earlier in the year.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the star heroines in the film industry who settled down in life by marrying Akkineni Naga Chaitanya. Ever since she got married, she changed her surname to Akkineni. She completely became Akkineni kodalu and everyone started calling her Akkineni Samantha. Now, the buzz is that Samantha is going to be a part of the prestigious movie which is the biopic based on the life of Sr NTR. The film unit is on the verge of roping in a lot of talented heroines for the project and we have come to know that Samantha is also said to be a part of the project.
Check out the image below. In an unrelated note, the image of legends smoking might be a bit inappropriate now that too it being released on the birthday of ANR. Let’s hope that doesn’t lead to any needless issues.
Krish directs the NTR biopic produced by Balakrishna, Sai Korrapati and Vishnu Induri. Rana Daggubati will appear in the part of Chandra Babu Naidu. MM Keeravani is the music director of the movie and the details about Samantha’s character were kept under wraps currently. The biopic also stars Vidya Balan, Sumanth, Rana Daggubati and Prakash Raj among others in important roles. The movie will hit on the screens for Sankranthi 2019.
